Our skilled team includes care staff, nurses, and allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and podiatrists. We also work closely with visiting doctors. Together, we collaborate to ensure residents receive high-quality care and support.

Within our residential care homes, our dedicated memory support areas offer a safe, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed environment for people living with dementia. These purpose-built spaces are tailored to meet the unique needs of residents, providing comfort, familiarity, and security.

Palliative Care
Palliative care is the specialised support we provide to residents living with a terminal illness, where a cure is no longer expected. Our focus is on enhancing comfort, preserving dignity, and supporting quality of life through every stage of the journey.
Care is delivered in line with the Palliative Care Act and guided by nationally recognised principles of best practice.
We take a collaborative, team-based approach. Symptom management is coordinated by our experienced registered nurses and attending doctors. Depending on each resident’s needs, other health professionals, such as allied health or pastoral care may also be involved, always in consultation with the resident and their family.
Where possible, we support residents to remain in their familiar surroundings, cared for by trusted staff and close to loved ones. Most importantly, the wishes of each resident, and those of their family, guide every aspect of our care.

Spiritual life at Hope Valley
Lutheran Homes Group is concerned not only for the physical needs of its residents, but also their spiritual wellbeing. We know how important this becomes, especially as we age.
Spirituality is about a sense of purpose or meaning. It’s also about particular connections in our life, such as with others, creativity, nature, and a sense of something bigger or beyond ourselves. It can also be through faith or a belief system.
For residents seeking religious care and support, the Hope Valley Trinity Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church of Australia and is located in our retirement village.
There is an optional telecast of services to residents’ rooms and pastors are also available to minister to residents on an individual basis and provide spiritual support and counselling.
